As a single Mum living on the Gold Coast in Australia, I'm fortunate to run a business in an industry that I'm truly passionate about, Personal Development.
For over 20yrs I worked in the media industry, I loved my work, but it was long hours in highly stressful roles which had greater impact when I became a Mum!
The rigid corporate schedule made it challenging to balance work and family life, especially as a single parent.
I found myself exhausted by the end of the week, with little time for anything else, I was working so hard but not living the life of my dreams!
I'm passionate about working with motivated men and women who want to create this level of freedom and flexibility in their own lives.
Last year, I was made redundant, a blessing in disguise as it gave me the opportunity to rest, reevaluate and reset my life.
After years of high stress and long hours, I was burnt out and made a life decision that I was never going to work for a boss again.
I was determined to take control of my career, and create an extraordinary life filled with choices.
Taking the plunge to become my own boss was daunting, but it has also been exhilarating and empowering, transforming my life in ways I never thought possible!
I highly value community and believe it plays a vital role in shaping success. Initially, I was concerned that this sense of community would be lost with online work. However, my mentor and colleague Jodie, a mother of four with a similar corporate background, has been incredibly supportive.
